Signature Espresso
This espresso blend is a traditional northern Italian blend, much like you would enjoy in the espresso bars north of Rome.
Unlike an American “Seattle-Style” espresso, our espresso is noticeably lighter in color because we roast each coffee in the blend individually. This is a much more time-consuming method of roasting and blending, but we think the difference is evident in the cup.
Rich : Earthy: Sweet
A proprietary blend of coffees from South America, Central America, India, and Indonesia–ingredients may change with the seasons, as coffee is an agricultural product. We source our coffee based on flavor and each individual coffee’s job in the blend. Espresso by the Italian standard is always a blend of coffees. The flavor profile will always stay the same–earthy, rich, syrupy, sweet, and smooth.

Our regular house blend is perfect for your every day pot of coffee at home or the office. Medium bodied. Sweet and slightly smokey with a tangy finish.

House Decaf Blend
Ground Roots House Decaf blend has a slightly smoky flavor, perfect for use as an espresso or drip brew.
Decaffeinating coffee is a process done after coffee has left the port of origin.
This is a blend of Colombian and Sumatra coffees decaffeinated by Swiss Water Decaf in Vancouver, BC.

The process removes the caffeine from the raw coffee beans via heated water. This is the best tasting and least harmful to the environment. Other processes may use chemicals, or CO2 and water.

This Sumatra Mandheling is a traditional Sumatra with an old school herbal aroma.
This coffee is full-bodied and earthy with deep notes of spice and herbs.
